# Disable / Enable Virtualization

## 1. Enter BIOS / UEFI

1. Restart your PC.
2. As soon as it starts booting, press the BIOS key repeatedly.
3. Common keys: **Del**, **F2**, **F10**, **F12**, **F1**, **Esc**. 
4. Stop when you see the BIOS/UEFI setup screen.

## 2. Navigate to Advanced Settings

Use arrow keys to go to tabs like: \[**Advanced**], \[**Security**], \[**System Configuration**], \[**Advanced Chipset Features**].

## 3. Disable Virtualization

1. Look for one of these: "**Virtualization Technology**", "**Intel VT-x**", "**Intel Virtualization**", "**SVM Mode**" (AMD) "**VT-d**".
2. Set it to: DISABLED / OFF.

## 4. Save & Exit

1. Press **F10** (or go to \[**Save & Exit**] tab).
2. Select "**Save Changes and Reset**".
3. Confirm "**Yes**".&#x20;
4. Let the PC restart normally.
